Cyclemeter Bike Computer App Reviews

Excellent tracker that syncs results to MyFitnesspal

The tracker also maps your results and can be customized to your needs. The bonus was when it synchronized with my calorie tracker. My only problem is remembering to start it when I start to ride or walk.

Best bike app for iPhone

Ive been using cyclemeter for over five years and it is by far the most complete cycling app. I use it with Bluetooth hrm, speed, cadence and power meter. In terms of support and updates, it is very responsive. Ive used several other cycling apps and theyre not as good or customizable. One thing I really like is the announcements. I have it set to 5 miles. It gives me a rough idea of my pace without staring at it the screen the whole time. The thing that impresses me the most is excellent support.

Best riding app

Excellent for tracking walking, running, riding. Never leave home without it

It works , youll love it

Lots of features Easy to use Works for more than bike rides I love it so will you Use it

The best GPS sports app

I use this app for biking, Nordic and alpine skiing, and hiking. I absolutely love it. I have exported the results to Strava, ViewRanger, and Gaia GPS. Its great to have all the stats to geek over and see where youve been.

Great App

I have been using Cyclemeter for the past two years and find it very useful and accurate. I even use it while kayaking and hiking.

Almost perfect

Great app, but missing one key way to display power; 3 second moving average. By their nature power meters data will bounce up and down; you need a 3, 5, and 10 second moving average to smooth out the data thats displayed from the power meter. Moving average as in it refreshes every second, but still averages out the last 3, 5 , or 10 seconds of data.

Needs update for Apple Watch

Apple Watch app still doesnt work right with this latest update. Still have to pull my phone out to see status. Love the app but bought the watch so I didnt have to keep looking at my phone. Fix it already!!! Its been months!!!

Great cycling tool

I find the app easy to use and helpful to track cycling habits and accomplishments. Going to rating process is cumbersome...

The best there is

No other app provides you the flexibility nor the capability to collect as much data as cycle meter, and especially not at this cost.

Fabulous--I use it essentially every day, multiple times.

Im just a cycle commuter, but this app keeps track of miles, times, random vectors I choose. The email link also keeps my wife up to date on my location and progress, a comfort in zero-degree weather at night, even with a little 5-mile commute. Nice!

Simple and high quality

Nice, simple interface. Provides all the data youd want: speed, distance, map, etc.

Love it

Very complete and accuret app!

Running

I use Cyclemeter for running, hiking and biking for the most part, my friends and I use the share feature all the time.

Great app

Great tool for all kind of bicycle riders and other activities to keep track of the energy burned

Used this for 6 years

I should start by saying I only use 60% of the features. This does so much more than what I use it for, which is tracking my miles, speed, and other simple stats like this throughout the years. I love this app -- the map, the tracking, ect. are exactly what I need.

Has been working very bad recently

Says bad gps every time I try to use it past few weeks. Didnt used to do that. Other apps that require gps on my phone work perfect. Problem with the app.

Great App!

Been using for nearly 3 years and pleased with constant updates/upgrades. Also use the RFLKT and works well with the app.

Worth the price

Lots of features; intuitive interface; great apple watch integration.

Could be great

I want to like this app. It has a nice interface, lots of data and display options and seems very accurate. Two things, however, are annoying and I will probably delete again and keep looking for a good bicycle computer app. First, the free version blocks a lot of the functions, including auto-start and stop and you get ads whenever you start and shut down. Sorry, but I will not pay for an app, especially on an annual subscription basis, unless I first test everything. The biggest problem, however, is the flaky GPS function. Half the time I start the app, get going when a "bad GPS" warning pops up and basically disables the app. I followed the suggestions and sometimes the app becomes repsonive againand sometimes it doesnt. I dont want to have to troubleshoot whenever I go on a ride, including restarting my phone. Interestingly all other GPS dependent apps work just fine when this one doesnt. The troubleshooting tips basically boil down to make this app the only thing running on your phone. Not going to work for me. Im giving it one more week of riding and playing around with the settings. If the GPS issue doesnt get better the app will be deleted.
